Attractive Attraction

How to improve and be Attractive

Back On Track

I truly believe unless we are doing what brings us joy, we need to think twice about what we’re doing, why we’re doing it and even take it a step further by finding the courage to do something about it so the joy is there.

For the past couple of months I’ve been going through a bit of a metamorphosis personally and in my business. Because of this, I’ve eliminated everything that no longer felt right for me with the business and replaced it with all that is in alignment with my heart and Soul.

The more I delve into my spiritual growth, the more I understand that less really is more. I’ve come to understand at a profound level that there is nothing we have to add to ourselves in order for us to be more spiritual.
In fact, as you allow yourself to release anything and everything that isn’t working in your life, the freer you become and the lighter you feel, enabling you to soar to heights you might never have imagined before.

You see, the less encumbered you are with stuff, unnecessary responsibilities, and people in your life who constantly drain you, the more you give yourself the opportunity to know who you really are at your Soul level. This in turn clears the space for you to attract into your life exactly what it is you desire.

It’s the in between moments of your life, those blank spaces, that you will find your peace and true Self during each part of your life’s journey. These blank spaces represent the simplicity of life, and the more you create these spaces, the more you will find yourself awakening the Genie within and living a life true to your heart. The benefit of this is two-fold. You have more peace and clarity in your life, and, you bring greater joy to everyone you come in contact with.

When I decided to do an overhaul of my website and coaching practice, I knew it was necessary to let go of the direction the business was heading. There were certain expectations and suggestions from others, in regard to my business, that left me feeling disconnected from my vision. Change and letting go isn’t always easy, but it’s necessary if you intend to grow and prosper in every area of your life, and more importantly, if you want to stay true to your Self.

For me, the change I needed to create involved going back to the basics. And when you go back to the basics, you will often find yourself returning to a state of calm, feeling connected to Spirit and your Soul, once again. It is this connection that makes everything in your life right.

Dr. Wayne Dyer gives a beautiful and simple definition of the word spiritual in his book, There’s A Spiritual Solution To Every Problem. He states:

“Then these are the 7 ways I define spiritual: Surrender, Love, Infinite, Empty (Empty Mind), Generous, Connectedness and Cheerful.” He goes on to elaborate on each of these words in the book.

Here are 7 ways I define Soul in a similar fashion: Love, Wisdom, Truth, Harmony, Genuine, Joyful and Peaceful. Perhaps in another newsletter, I’ll elaborate on these words as well.

Wherever you are on your journey’s path, I ask that you observe it from a bird’s eye view so you can see it more clearly and determine if it’s one that still feels right for you.

Are you connected or disconnected? Are you moving along with a skip in your step or dragging your feet? Are you in a place of surrender or struggle? Are you being genuine or wearing a mask? Are you full of love or frustration? Are you listening to your voice or someone else’s?

Be honest with yourself as you answer these questions, because you are the one who must live with the consequences of your response everyday. You may have to dig deep to discover your truth, but I promise you, it’s there. Do yourself a huge favor and take whatever inspired actions you need to, so you too, can experience the definitions of spiritual and Soul. And please know that I am always here, should you need any assistance in doing this.

Words Are Seeds

The words you speak sow seeds in the minds of those who hear. The formed word is like the shell of the seed. It hides the potential for manifestation in its tiny, unassuming exterior. The word can fool us with its humble appearance. It passes swiftly in conversation: just a couple of syllables, spoken and then gone. And yet, like the seed in the earth, the word may have vanished from view, but there, under the surface, it enters a transformational process. With just a few favorable conditions, that camouflaged fleck takes root.

The shell of the word (its spelling, sound and language) cracks open in the fertile
ground of consciousness. Out pours its vibrational essence.

Three Kinds of Words.

You can find countless more complex classifications of words
than this one. This little system has nothing to do with grammar or parts of speech. It
simply sorts all your words into three piles of seeds.

Flowers.

Flower words beautify your experience. When you speak them they brighten
those who hear. They highlight what is wanted in a way that makes good things
palpable and present. When you speak flower words, these seeds sprout into beneficial
experiences in the lives of those who are listening.

Fruits.

Fruit words nourish. In times of tragedy, fruit words offer ease and comfort. In
times of challenge, these words bring encouragement. In times of inspiration, they
burst with colorful, nutritious enthusiasm. Fruit words fill a gap with just what is
needed. They carry the recipient forward. Fruit words work miracles.

Weeds.

Weed words perpetuate habits. Some of them can even look pretty and serve a
function, but if you sow too many weeds they tend to squeeze out the flowers and
fruits. Weed words are the ones spoken with no clear intention. They fill whatever
space they can and they offer no harvest. Weed words dampen your sense of aliveness.

Two Kinds of Soil.

Words float from your lips and they land in two places at once. They
land in others who hear your words. They also land in you.

Others.

Once your words have been spoken and heard, the seed’s shell begins to
dissolve very quickly. The vibrational essence reverberates in the recipient and mingles
with their experiences and associations. A whole new creation takes form.

You.

When you hear your own words, they re-impregnate your field of consciousness
with the essence of the meaning you intended when you spoke them.
If they were flower words, your life would become happier because you spoke them. If they were fruit words, you would feel more satisfied and stabilized in their wake. Many
times in the day we tend to speak weed words. In that case, you maintain your state
just the way it has been. No great benefit or detriment comes of it. If you begin tipping the scales toward more and more weed words, you’ll start to feel
the undesirable outcome of your sowing. On the other hand, if you get even a little bit
more intentional with your flowers and fruits and cut down on your weed words, the
difference in your manifestation will be remarkable.

No Dictionaries.

It’s easy to tell which words are which. You can tell by the way you feel
as the words are coming out of your mouth what kind of seeds you are speaking. You
don’t have to look up a word in the dictionary to see if it is a flower or a weed. It won’t
even work to make a list of fruit words and decide to speak only those. Since the
spoken or written word only shows you the outer shell of the seed, you must look inside
yourself at every utterance to know what kind of seeds you are tossing to the wind.

The very same word, when spoken in different situations, may germinate with
completely different results.

Instant Harvest. Although words can instigate creation of tremendous duration, there is
a moment of instant harvest as the words are spoken. You can feel the immediate
sprouting even before you finish your sentence. At that moment, if you recognize a
weed taking form, you can shift your conversations and produce a flower before you
even pause for your next breath.

Joyous Harvest.

Paying attention to the seeds you are sowing with your words has
nothing to do with word selection. Let your words flow. In order to harvest a joyful
satisfying life, follow these three simple instructions and let the words choose
themselves:

ONE. On the day-to-day path of your consciousness, let your attention be drawn to
things you love. The more you allow this natural movement, the more you will be
inspired to utter flower words.

TWO. In your interactions with others, see everyone you encounter as an expression of
divine life force in a unique configuration. The more you look into the essence of others,
the more you will be inspired to utter fruit words.

THREE. Assign brief periods, maybe five or ten minutes, when you pause before
speaking. In these segments, check your intention before the words take on sound. In
these brief, private training sessions, you will invite greater expression of flowers and
fruits and you will begin to naturally diminish the weed population in your conversation.

You can inspire others to greatness. You can open your access to ever expanding joy. Make your sowing of words more intentional and your life will overflow with a continuous harvest of fulfillment.

The Power Of The Edge

Reality has no edge. In fact, that’s how we recognize it. If it has an edge, it’s not reality.

A movie on a big screen draws you into its reality immediately. Once you lose your awareness of the edge
of the screen, the film becomes your world. A world with no edge becomes reality. For an even more
extreme experience of a simulated no-edge-reality, try on some virtual reality goggles. They fill your entire
visual field right up to the edge and so we put the word “reality” into the name of that technology. We
don’t usually get this shift in reality from watching a TV screen. The edge of the screen is always visible
and constantly whispers, “What you are watching is not real.” It’s all about the edge.

Your visual field acts as your movie screen. The genius of its design is that you can’t see the edge. Your
focus is forward. Way out at the edge your awareness blurs into unconsciousness. Since we are usually
unaware of any edge, we think what we see is reality. How you relate to the edge of your visual field, the
edge of your consciousness, the edge of your world becomes crucially important if you are interested in
taking an intentionally creative role in your own reality. Consciousness evaluates reality by any situation’s
relationship to the edge.

So, the edge has the power to make things seem unreal. And “edgelessness” is the key ingredient in reality.
We can use this information in many powerful ways as we move through life’s contrasting offerings.

To Edge or Not to Edge

You have a choice about the edge in every moment. Putting an edge on anything makes it finite and less
than reality. Ignoring the edge of your awareness of the same thing makes it endless and gives it the feel of
reality.

Your dream ends when you wake up. That is its edge. Before you wake up you think it is real. Once you
wake up you experience its edge and it doesn’t feel real anymore. You say it was just a dream (not reality).
The movie ends at the edge of the screen or after the credits roll. When you encounter its edge in space or
in time you remember it is just a movie (not reality).

Realizing the power of the edge gives you the ability to diminish or augment the perceived reality of
anything you are living. If something unwanted feels real and immovable, you can begin to loosen its hold
on you. If something wonderful feels tentative and unsure, you can fortify its reality. It’s all a matter of
where you place your edge.

Saying Goodbye to Unwanted Realities

Abraham has told us there is no such thing as exclusion.* You can’t stop thinking about something by
trying to stop thinking about it because then you are thinking about it. What if there is something that
looms so large in your experience, that feels so real and so unwanted, that you can’t seem to turn your
attention away from it? You can begin to diminish its power in your life by working with its edge. As you
notice its edge, you weaken its grip on your awareness. Having done this, you may be able to turn easily
away from it sooner than you would have imagined possible.

Whether you are lost in an unwanted financial reality, a relationship crisis or any other seemingly real
situation, you can “unreal” it by determining its edge and paying more attention to what is beyond that
edge than what is inside it. Anything that has an edge has something beyond it. That is where the potential
for a whole new reality lives within your creative consciousness.
Until you realize the edge of your unwanted situation, you may feel hopeless. Once you see the unwanted
reality as finite with infinite possibility right over the line, you take back your power in that situation.

What seemed like an immovable reality begins to feel more like a little story - one story out of many
possible stories. This shift in consciousness will allow you to begin creating a whole new desirable reality
on the subject of finances or relationship or in any other area of your life. This simple shift makes it all
not only possible, but likely.

Creating Wanted Realities

If putting an edge on reality diminishes it to a little story, then taking the edge off a little story can lift it to
the status of reality. Can this really be possible? You can experiment with it and see for yourself. Here’s
how you do it:

Find something that you would absolutely love to live as your reality. Then imagine it without an edge.

That means imagine it as absolutely true. If you find any place in your consciousness where you are aware
that this is just a story, that awareness is an edge. Go past that. Infuse every inch, mile and light-year of
your consciousness with the knowing that this desired reality is real, true. Keep going until you are
completely unaware of any edge. In this case, doubt would be an edge. Awareness of a conflicting sense of
reality would be an edge. Let your desired reality completely fill your movie screen. Let it permeate your
entire field of vision. Let it be all you know. Do this on a regular basis. See what happens.

You can begin by playing a game with this notion of the edge. Start becoming aware of which stories in
your life are so big that they have no edge. See if these are stories that you want to be your reality. If not,
you now know what to do about it. Happy edging.
