Understanding How Our Lives Unfold

Surely you’ve heard of the concept ‘your thoughts create your future.’

I think this is currently being talked about in all of the self-improvement programs. And, who of us has not read nearly all of them?

Why we think we need self-improvement, I don’t know.

Aren’t we just fine the way we are. . . Divine Beings, and such. Actually, I believe we are looking more for ‘transformation’ rather than self improvement. Okay, another topic for another day.

Back to THIS topic.

When you look at your life you may not be able to make the connection between your thoughts and what’s happening. To you it may seem that the two are entirely separate.

For many, many years I did not make the connection either.

However, after studying and coming to understand the Universal Laws and learning about Energy, I can now see how my thoughts, feelings, energy vibration and actions have been the determining factor in almost all that has transpired in my life.

Yep, I brought about all those ’stuff ups’. Likewise, I’ve brought about some truly wonderful happenings. . . and, will continue to do so.

So, ‘who or what’ is responsible for our having or not having what we want? Is it that thing, or that person or?

Let’s explore further the idea of ‘your thoughts create your future’. Following are the basics of how this works.

We live in a Manifesting Universe that is governed by numerous Universal Laws.

As an example, whether we believe it or not, we see proof of gravity working every day. (Thank the Universe for this!) We probably don’t understand how it works. Yet, it does.

There are many laws that operate without our conscious attention, belief or understanding.

One Universal Law in particular determines whether you have money, positive relationships, success or anything else of value in your life.

It determines whether you live a life that is full of worry, fear and stress, or a life that is joyful and carefree.

This law is called ‘The Law of Attraction‘.

If you don’t understand how this law affects your life, your life will probably appear to be unbalanced and uncertain. You will spend your time ‘reacting’ to everything and everyone around you, instead of taking proper action.

I feel confident you have heard the saying that “like attracts like”.

Why? You may wonder just what causes ‘like to attract like’?

The answer is. . . Everything in our Universe is made up of ENERGY.

Our thoughts are made up of energy. You are made up of energy. Everything is simply energy in varying forms.

Quantum physics has proven that this is true. And, science has proven that ‘like energy attracts like energy’.

All energy has specific magnetic proprieties.

Therefore, we are like magnets. As magnets, we are attracting things continuously, even when we are not aware of it.

This magnetic energy is also ‘vibrating’ at different frequencies. These frequencies determine the magnetic properties of the energy that we are vibrating.

Being so, it is your energy, your vibration, in alignment with the Law of Attraction which is the key to making changes in your life and attracting whatever you desire.

It is how you FEEL that brings about your personal energy vibration. And, of course, our thoughts tend to determine how we feel.

So, you see, creating and manifesting does begin with thought. Yet, there is more that follows and combines to actually complete the process.

Right now you are possibly believing that this is a lot of metaphysical mumbo jumbo. Well, like with the gravity example, it doesn’t matter what we believe about this. It still works.

Unfortunately, a large number of people live their lives just accepting things as they are. They hope for the best and all the while accept the worse.

They spend all their time focusing on and thinking about their problems rather than imagining and feeling the energy of how they want their lives to be.

You know. . . it’s that ‘life of quiet desperation’ thing. This is sad and is not how our lives are intended to be.

Once you understand the Law of Attraction and Energy and then align yourself with how it all works, you can change the circumstances in your life, if you want. You can attract to you that which you want.

Through your thoughts, your feelings, your energy vibration and your actions you can create and manifest how your life unfolds!

10 Ways to Kink Your Vibe

An aligned vibration is essential to getting what you want in life. Many aren’t aware of their vibration or the role it plays in creating life experiences. An out-of-alignment vibration keeps people in a rut and prevents dreams, miracles, and other good things from happening. Here are ten ways you may be sabotaging your vibration without realizing it:

1. Worrisome thoughts - Anxious, concerned, and fearful thoughts disconnect you from source energy, bringing you closer to the things you don’t want in life. Habitual negative thinking is the primary culprit for a polluted vibration.

2. Doing what you “have to” - Doing things you don’t want to do, either out of obligation or because you believe you “have to,” creates resistance and other disturbances in your energy.

3. Eating “right” and eating emotionally - Basing food choices on what you’ve been told is healthy may or may not be. If you don’t enjoy eating it, it’s not good for you or your vibration. Similarly, impulsive or subconscious eating (to quell difficult emotions) is also bad for your vibration.

4. Playing the martyr - Withholding good things from yourself and refraining from enjoyment of life is another way to cut off your connection to source energy and kink the vibe.

5. Tolerating others - The act of tolerating anything is a drain on your energy, especially when it’s people you’d rather not be around.

6. Isolating yourself from nature - Your connection to source wilts when you sequester yourself from nature. Uninterrupted exposure to concrete, artificial lighting, stale air, etc. doesn’t allow for energetic rejuvenation.

7. Being hard on yourself - Feeling guilty, embarrassed, disappointed or angry with yourself is a sure-fire way to contaminate your vibration. Negative emotions directed inward are toxic to healthy personal energy.

8. Being a news/TV junkie - Exposing yourself to the standard negative news and social gossip takes a strong toll on the vibration. Many popular TV shows also assail energy with regular violence and sarcasm.

9. Harboring resentment - Continual feelings of resentment toward a situation, person or group kinks up the vibe over time. That includes parents, bosses, religious groups, foreign countries, etc.

10. Disorganized physical space - A chaotic environment subtly but relentlessly chisels away at a healthy vibration. Spending time in an atmosphere that doesn’t feel good will deplete your energy over time, affecting your vibration as well.

Do I Need to Visualize to Manifest my Desires

You’ve heard me talk in previous articles about Deliberate attraction. The Law of Attraction is a powerful force that is operating in every moment, including this moment right now. Knowing that we all offer a vibration (vibe) in every moment, and that The Law of Attraction matches that vibration and brings us more of the same vibration (whether wanted, or unwanted), it is important for us to understand the significance of becoming deliberate about what it is that we are vibrationally offering. The more we learn to apply The Law of Attraction to our lives and tap into this powerful force, the more deliberate we learn to become as attractors. This speeds up the manifestation of our desires. And that brings us to the topic of this article. Is visualization needed to manifest our desires?

Let’s begin by reviewing the 3-step formula for Deliberate Attraction:

1) I identify my desire (being as clear as I can).

2) I raise my vibration (by giving my desire attention).

3) I allow (by reducing my resistance to receiving my desire).

Often, people will tell me they have already identified their desires and typically made a huge list of what those desires are. I am frequently asked, “Michael, how come the Law of Attraction didn’t manifest my desire?” When I ask them where that list is right now, two answers I usually get are: “Oh I don’t have it anymore.” And, “It’s tucked away somewhere.”

It is important to remember that The Law of Attraction is a 3-step process and not a 1-step process. The Law of Attraction states, “Whatever I give my attention, energy and focus to, I’ll attract more of it, whether wanted or unwanted.” After we have determined our desires, we need to give attention to those desires. This is why most people who build a list, and then tuck it away, never see the desires on that list manifest.

I like to teach the deliberate use of The Law of Attraction through words because words are a common denominator that we all share. We speak, hum, sing, read, write, paint and process words in every moment of our day. All words carry a vibration for the person who says them or thinks them. There are, however, different ways to give attention to your desires. Some people like to use words, through writing, or talking with others about their desires. Other people like to visualize, or use art forms like making collages. It is true that all of these ways will give attention to your desires and help to raise your vibration. However, it is also true that not all of these methods or tools will feel good to everyone using them. So, how do YOU determine if a method is the right one for you to use? It’s easy.

If it feels good, then use it. If it doesn’t, then don’t!

That’s all there is to it. To insist that someone needs to visualize in order to manifest their desires, when visualizing is a frustrating endeavour for that person, is opposing the purpose of using the tool in the first place! While that person is visualizing, their frustration would be creating a negative vibration instead of increasing their positive vibration even higher. The same goes for any of the methods or tools I’ve suggested in practicing the Law of Attraction. Use them only if they feel good to you.

To summarize, ask yourself this question when checking to see if visualization or any other method or tool is right for you. Do I feel good as I am using this method or tool? Is this method or tool helping me to offer a positive vibration? If the answer is yes then be assured that it is an effective tool for you to keep on using as you continue to manifest your desires.
