How to improve and be Attractive

3 Steps to Manifesting Your Ideal Life

Over the past several weeks I’ve received dozens of email solicitations for books, CDs and videos that promise to reveal newly discovered techniques to improve my life. These emails promise a wide variety of benefits: how to get rich, lose weight, meet the woman of my dreams and buy a million dollar mansion with no money down. In some cases the salesman will throw in a “Ginzu knife” or “pocket fisherman” if I order immediately!

While some of these marketers may actually believe they’ve invented a whole new system of creating a life anyone would want, the truth is “there is nothing new under the sun.” Mystics have studied the underlying principles that manifest reality for centuries. These same principles existed in the time of Socrates and they existed before the establishment of many of today’s religions.

Whether it’s money, love, health, or anything else, the principles are the same. In mystical terms, the Law of Attraction specifies that you will attract to yourself those experiences that match your beliefs. In the words of quantum physics, the observer affects that which is observed. Since you are the observer, it’s you who affects your life, that is, it’s you who creates your experience of reality.

You create your experience via your underlying beliefswhether they are conscious or unconscious. If you’re not conscious of your beliefs then you must make them conscious. As Carl Jung said, “Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.” Or, as mystics will say, “Know thyself.” This includes your beliefs.

Before you begin to manifest your ideal life, you must get clear on exactly what you want. Examine your desire from a mystic perspective. Is it something that would be of benefit to many people or is it a purely selfish desire? If you are attempting to manifest your desire at the expense of someone else, there will be a steep price to pay in the future. Remember, “As ye sow, so shall ye reap,” so why saddle yourself with additional burdens? If your desire seems selfish, reframe it so that it’s of benefit to others.

Once you are clear on exactly what you want, then it is a straightforward matter to manifest your desire. There are three steps:

Step 1. Visualize exactly what you want for 5 minutes per day. Let’s say you want to go sightseeing in Paris. You may want to visualize the Eiffel Tower. Why 5 minutes? Because any longer and your mind will wander. Any shorter and you may not be fully fleshing out your vision.

Step 2. Put yourself in the picture, with detail and emotion. You have a clear view of the Eiffel Tower. But, if you don’t visualize yourself in the picture, the universe will manifest your desire, but perhaps not in the format you anticipated. For example, you might get a postcard of the Paris skyline in the mail. To avoid any misunderstandings, picture yourself standing in front of the tower. What are you wearing? Are you there with your spouse or some new love interest? Add details, employing all your sensory data. You’re eating a delicious croissant. The wind is blowing gently on a beautiful, sunny spring afternoon. You hear conversations en fran

Taking Charge of Your Inner Movie

I first heard about this when I read The New Psycho-cybernetics by Dr Maxwell Maltz and Dan Kennedy. I enjoyed it because it expanded on the importance of Intrapersonal Communication.

This is about communication with your self and about taking charge of your life instead of just letting life happen to you.

Many goal and attraction courses talk about being clear about what you want. Yet many of them don’t go into how to get clear with yourself about what your desires are. A great exercise in being clear and attracting your desires comes from using the theater of your mind.

At a time you are unlikely to be interrupted, just sit back, close your eyes and start to picture what you desire.
Let’s say it is a house by a lake. See yourself driving up to the house. What does the entrance look like, how big is the yard, how many trees are around, what does the lake look like?
How do you feel when you see this and know that it is all yours?
Then see yourself getting out of your car and walking up to the front door.

Watch your hand unlock the door and turn the doorknob. What is the first sight you see? Hear your footsteps. Are you on carpet or a hardwood floor? Go through each room with clarity and using all of your senses. For example, if you are in the kitchen,
what do you smell, is it fresh fruit, or coffee? Maybe it is the scent of flowers carried in by the breeze. Reach out and touch the counters and cupboards. Taste some of the food or coffee. What do you hear? Look around. The more vivid and details the more you will attract this into your lives.

You see, when you take the time to see your goal actually happening in your mind, it helps you to clarify what you do and don’t want to happen. When something comes up that you don’t like, you can rewind, start again or adjust any way you like and then proceed. This is a much easier then changing it in the outer world once it has manifested.

Visualization is another form of communication and it’s in a way that your brain can relate to. For example, think about what you did on the weekend. Then notice how you thought about it. Was it in words or did you see pictures in your mind. This is how the brain stores information, in pictures and in a holographic manner. (but that is another story).

We are recording and storing images all the time and the storage in your mind cannot distinguish from what is real, made up or remembered. Now this might seem like a flaw and explains why some people seem to have faulty memories and why different people remember the events differently.

However, there is one great and wonderful feature associated with this. Your brain attracts to you, that which it knows, understanding, has a feeling of familiarity with and decides is on your important list. Therefore, if you can visualize in detail and with feeling, exactly how you desire your life to be,
you are much more likely to attract it. Your mind sees it as something that you belong to with and or around.

We visualize all the time, but are we playing yesterdays horrors or tomorrows desires. The choice is yours.

Another thing that can help you is to have gratitude with the visualizations. Once you have pictured clearly what you want, show gratitude for already having received it. This can be hard for some people and yet it is what successful and spiritual people have discovered. Showing gratitude before you have received it, increases the likelihood of it becoming a reality.

So what are you waiting for? Do what the successful people do and start visualizing your future today.

All the Best!

Visualization Attracting Your Dreams and Desires

Visualization is an essential tool for attracting your dreams and desires. To manifest in your outer life, your dreams must first manifest inside your mind.

Visualization is a detailed, sensory mental motion-picture of God’s ideas working in you to…

Achieve short-term and long-term goals…

Your vision must be clear enough to build and sustain your belief in its possibility. Direct your imagination toward your achievements with faith and courage.

Create prosperity

The seeds of abundance are nourished to grow through visualization and gratitude for a prosperous life. See yourself as prosperous to become prosperous.

Expand perspective and possibilities

Visualization allows you to see a wider perspective and find your way to life’s richest blessings scattered across a vast landscape. Mao Tse-Tung (1893-1976) gave a great example when he said, “A frog at the bottom of a well thinks the sky is only as big as the top of the well. If he surfaced, he would have an entirely different view.” A wider perspective allows you to extend your grasp further.

Design a compelling future…

A lack of vision places more limitation on your achievements than lack of talent or ability. Great dreams and visions pull you forward. With resolute focus on the outcome, you will develop the necessary skills and means of accomplishment. Your mental blueprint becomes clearer as you move forward.

Build character

See yourself as you wish to become until the picture is clear in every detail. Grenville Kleiser wrote, “The first thing each morning, and the last thing each night, suggest to yourself specific ideas that you wish to embody in your character and personality. Address such suggestions to yourself, silently or aloud, until they are deeply impressed upon your mind.”

What will your most appealing visualization allow you to create? What are the achievements for which you will be remembered? What will your creation make possible for others?

May you envision many bright and beautiful blessings today and always.
